Procter Range
Welcome to the Procter Range!
The Procter Range has 10 lanes, target carriers to position your target anywhere from 3 to 25 yards, new HVAC and lighting, climate control, and is open 24×7 for member use. This range allows qualified members and their guest or family members to enjoy handgun, .22 rifle, and air rifle and pistol shooting indoors where they can escape the elements and the constraints of available daylight. It also provides a place for our Bullseye and Schuetzen teams to continue their events all winter long. This range has also hosted CMP Bullseye Matches and we plan more for upcoming winter seasons. If there are other events you think might interest other members, please email the Procter Range governor.
Procter provides a clean environment for shooters with a state-of-the-art air filtration system and a target retrieval system on par with any commercial range. The Procter common area provides a place to gather before or after shooting and restroom facilities that are available for use by all club members. The common area is also available to reserve for your group meetings. For information and reservations for the common area contact ProcterRange@NFGA.org
Qualification for the Procter Range is a simple three-step process.
Send email to procterrange@nfga.org and request the written exam. You will receive a link to the exam with an access code. The exam is online, open book and you can take it as many times as you like. After you pass the exam, the governor will receive an email to notify him you have passed.
The governor will contact you and coordinate a time for one of the committee members to do the orientation and range qualification. This could take place, weekdays, evenings, or weekends. This part takes 20 to 30 minutes.
After you complete the range qualification, your badge will be activated for range access.

Please help the Procter Committee take care of our range. Clean up your brass behind the white firing line and wipe down the benches when you have finished your shooting session. Don’t forget to sign in and out if you are shooting on your own outside of scheduled events.
